Parent Representatives

Our Parent Representatives

We have introduced the parent representative role with the aim of improving and developing parent partnerships. They are a direct link between school and families. These roles were set up following parent feedback which highlighted that it would be beneficial to have a parent to represent each year group and work in partnership with us to share your ideas.

Parents and carers who would like more information on their child’s/children’s learning, updates on the school and any school-led projects or meetings can speak to a Parent Representative

If you have any comments or suggestions to share, please get in touch with your parent representative using the email: parent@butleighprimary.co.uk

Their main responsibilities include:

  • Regularly attending Headteacher drop ins to present any views
  • Gather and present the school with feedback and suggestions for improvement
  • Involved in school led projects and meetings show their commitment to support and develop the school, children and families.
  • Work in partnership with the parent liaison lead discussing any themes or discussion areas the school need to be aware of
  • Ensuring that parents understand the process to follow should they have a concern, query or complaint regarding an individual situation
  • Develop future communication paths.
