Our RSHE is taught through discrete lessons and concepts that are woven through our topic learning enquiries. It is also directly linked to our school Christian values and through our Butleigh Brilliance
Through this curriculum, we want all our children to:
- Understand and value how they fit into and contribute to the world.
- Develop an understanding of their own feelings and those of others and develop healthy ways to manage these.
- Develop a range of mindfulness techniques and other techniques to support children with comfortable feelings in a positive way.
- Learn to navigate their world and develop positive relationships with themselves and others.
- To understand and accept diversity and develop their tolerance and understanding of others.
- To know how to keep themselves and others safe.
Within our RSHE curriculum we teach the British values.
