Welcome to the (Parent Teacher Association) Friends of Butleigh School (FBS) section of our website.
We have a thriving and hardworking parents’ association – the Friends of Butleigh School, currently chaired by Mrs Nicky Tucker, which very successfully organises fund raising events.
The money raised continues to fundamentally improve the children’s learning experience by providing equipment, apparatus and enrichment.
They have provided stunning outdoor play equipment for the whole school, a new kitchen and supported with trips to a wide range of places such as Bristol, We the Curious.
All parents are automatically members of the Friends of Butleigh School. Regular meetings are held to which all parents are warmly welcomed. This presently includes some online meetings to support with working parents.
As well as the larger annual events such as sports day, school fete, Christmas fayre and cinema nights, there are regular events such as cake days, colouring competitions, Tuck shop and bags-2-schools collections
