Governors are a voluntary body of people who set the aims and objectives for the school. They set policies and targets for achieving those aims and objectives. The governors monitor and evaluate the progress the school is making and act as a “critical friend” to the school.
The instrument of governance states that the governing body of Butleigh Primary School shall consist of:
