We have a school uniform which pupils are expected to wear.
It’s practical, smart and helps children to develop their sense of identity within the school.
School uniform is available to buy from South West Schoolwear in Wells 01749 670000 or through their online store found here.
Standard wear
- White or blue blouse, shirt or polo shirt – available with the school logo
- Plain grey skirt, calottes, pinafore dress, shorts or trousers (all of these must be a smart style i.e. not leggings, jogging bottoms, jeans or football shorts. Skirts should be of an appropriate length)
- Navy cardigan, jumper, fleece or sweatshirt – available with the school logo.
- Optional blue and white gingham dress/play suit for the summer term
- Plain black, sensible, low-heeled shoes (boots are allowed if children able to sit on the carpet in them comfortably). Logos should be avoided or be plain black.
- If socks or tights are visible they should be plain black, navy, grey or white
- Sports trainers may be worn for PE days and lunchtime activities only
- Red cap
- Red bookbag for KS1 and a small rucksack for KS2 (space is limited in the cloakrooms)
PE
- Navy blue polo shirt – available with the school logo
- Plain black or navy shorts or jogging/track-suit bottoms
- Sports trainers
Swimming
Boys:
- Suitable swimming trunks,
- Towel
- Googles (as required)
Girls:
- Swimming costume (no bikinis please),
- Towel
- Googles (as required)
Forest School
- Wellies
- Waterproof trousers
- Waterproof coat
- Casual clothes that are suitable for outdoor learning e.g. jogging bottoms/leggings, t-shirt and jumper
Hair and Jewellery
Long hair should be tied back for safety and hygiene especially on PE days.
Only stud earrings allowed. No other jewellery.
